My May '68

Kent alumna Sally Miller, a student in Paris fifty years ago, talks about her experience of revolution.

An informal and conversational event, interspersed with your questions, during which Sally Miller will share her experiences of being a student in Paris in May ’68 as an activist: the overall atmosphere, learning how to publish leaflets, her 'adventure' at the Ecole des Beaux Arts, attending a revolutionary meeting and the subsequent action, her return to the UK and what happened then.

There will also be an opportunity to go and taste the variety of ice cream that also played its part in her May ’68.
