What if a group of women from distinct cultural backgrounds get together to co-create a story?
What would they represent? How could the plurality of their truths be woven?
We invite you to an intimate gathering on the Friday evening of the festival opening a dialogue with you through the chance to experience a plurality of perspectives in creative and critical form.
The relation between what we see and what we know is never settled, the gaze of others or the limitations of a certain politics installed upon the body or between bodies serves to remove the body from the act of interaction in the world around it.
The exhibition presents art work from a number of video and visual artists expressing themes around the body experienced as a vehicle challenging the encounters and persistence of patriarchy.
